Meetings of the ISA meetings (September 2008, Barcelona) and ASA (August 2008,Boston) - deadlines coming up in December and January
Since the deadlines for the meetings of the International Sociological Association and the American Sociological Association are coming up soon, I thought I send this around again.
The International Sociological Association will meet from 5 - 8 September in Barcelona. You can find the call for papers of the Research Committees at the following link. http://www.isa-sociology.org/barcelona_2008/rc/rc.htm. The deadlines vary between beginning and mid-December.
The meetings of the American Sociological Association next year will take place in Boston, 1 - 4 August. The conference theme is “Worlds of Work”. The call for papers can be found at:

The deadline is 16 January. Usually, one is notified in March.
The British Academy supports the attendance of international conference. The grants vary, the grant for the US East Coast is £ 400. Deadlines for submission are 15 October, 15 January and 15 April.
